Seth Grant

Seth Grant is Professor of Molecular Neuroscience at Edinburgh University, UK. His group studies the proteins and genes that act in the postsynaptic terminal of brain synapses. They have performed large scale genetic studies in mice and humans studying the impact of gene mutations on behavior and their relevance to disease. They have also studied the protein complexity of synapses using proteomic methods and combined these with genomic and experimental genetic approaches to define a new model for the evolution of the brain and behaviour.
